New!! - Glass Bead Making Classes - click here for more info.
The Gallery Beadshop intend to
offer some of Scotland's more innovative beading and glass making
classes. For March, there are two evening classes a week - we hope
to have extraordinary weekend workshops for subjects that require
a little more time to master in April and May. Unlike other class
providers we will be offering refresher sessions for those who want
a bit more tuition after having taken one of our classes - half
the price of the original class and usually with far fewer people.
Our full schedule should be up soon and those that book two or more
classes will receive a discount voucher for 25% off any purchases
from The Gallery Beadshop (not redeemable against artist showcase
work and repairs/restringing).
To book please telephone the shop on 0131 229 2209 or call in to
the shop.

You'll learn about the importance of positioning, how to crimp and how to end a tigertail necklace using clamshell ends and crimps. The techniques you learn in this class can be used to make bracelets and adapted to make earrings. You'll use the techniques learned in this class time and time again…
You will need:
1m 0.018 Tigertail

2 silver plated or gold plated clamshell ends
Not just for hats! The hatpin has evolved…they can be used as lapel pins, pashmina pins and hair decorations (with their tips filed off!). In this class we'll show you how to make a wide variety of hatpins, from simple '123' beaded styles to more complicated 'chaindrop' and 'solar' styles (if you want to know what these are, you'll have to come along to the class!) For those of you that want something a little bit different…
